Up to £9,000 off the cost of a new heat pump, funded by the Scottish Government. Up to £7,500 for most properties, with an increased grant of up to £9,000 if your property is in a rural location.
The Grant Explained
The Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan is a Scottish Government scheme that provides funding towards replacing a fossil fuel heating system with a heat pump. The grant is designed to make the switch to low-carbon heating more affordable for Scottish homeowners.
On top of the grant, eligible homeowners can also access an optional interest-free loan, which can further reduce the upfront cost of installation.
The grant is applied for through Home Energy Scotland. As an MCS-certified installer, we can advise you on eligibility and point you in the right direction to get started.
An optional interest-free loan is also available alongside the grant. Eligibility conditions apply and are confirmed by Home Energy Scotland.
